Summer Update '25 for VOLTRA I - Available Now
Precision updates for serious training.

Just as summer wraps up, we’re closing the season strong with a powerful new update for VOLTRA I. We've got an all-new mode, some highly-requested tweaks and additions to some of our fan-favorite modes, and more.

Let’s jump into what’s new.

Rowing Mode – Smooth, Dynamic Resistance Built for High-Rep Power

The community asked if it was possible, the answer is yes! We're releasing a brand-new Rowing Mode that brings a fluid resistance curve optimized for high-rep, low-impact movement.

Provided you've got the setup to support it, mount up your VOLTRA I and simulate a rowing machine with just a few taps. Perfect for metabolic finishers or conditioning-focused sessions.

Auto Unload – Complete Control Without Touching the Unit

We’re following up on the success of Auto Load with its natural companion: Auto Unload. Now you can set a complete rep or hold cycle and have VOLTRA I automatically drop the load at the end.

Available under Weight Training and Resistance Band Modes, it supports both:
  • Auto Unload by Hold Time
  • Auto Unload by Reps

Eccentric Settings in Isokinetic Mode – With Adjustable Overload

You asked, we listened. Isokinetic Mode now supports two powerful new eccentric training options:
  • Adjustable Constant Weight – Set a fixed weight that adapts through the eccentric phase.
  • Adjustable Constant Speed – Maintain a consistent movement speed regardless of force output.

These allow for advanced overload setups and better hypertrophy programming.

Isometric Test Upgrade – More Configurable Than Ever

Your strength test, your way. We’ve added the ability to have longer test timing to the Isometric Testing suite — ideal for dialing in repeatable metrics, comparing progress, and customizing for different user types.

How to Update

Make sure your VOLTRA I is connected to Wi-Fi, then go to:
Settings → General → Firmware Update.

The update should download and install in just a few minutes. Run into issues? Just reach out! We're here to help.
